I recently had picked up a 115 gallon off of craigslist. I also received a fahaka puffer whose growth had been stunted in a 55 gallon. Would the puffer grow at all if put in the larger tank?

Need more info how big is the puffer now how long was he in the tank for, I recon he will grow just not at a massively fast rate. Any pics of it love a fahaka.

Apparently it was around one inch when he first got him. Over the course of a year grew around 6-7" and not much more or at a very slow rate from then on. So I figure that since I acquired him and have the tank space I would put him in the 115 gallon. I am thinking that he will grow but not to full size, maybe 12".
I'd still say he has the chance to get to around max size with clean water and good food. But u never no could be stunted for good.
