I am currently planning a custom tank setup. It will be a 78 inch long 30 inch front to back and 24 inch high tank with a 120 gallon sump. I was originally planning a Fahaka tank but lately I am debating switching to an Asian Arowana with a ray tank. It would house just one of each and yes it will be one of the smaller ray species.

I am now seriously lost. I love both of the planned tank setups but only have space for one. I would love to hear some ideas about Pros/cons you have had with either of the setups. As much as I would love both setups only one can be purchased and set up.

Thanks

I think it is on the smaller side for arowanas and stingrays too.
Have you been inspired by the King of DIY on youtube?
Could you make your custom tank one foot longer?
If so, you could get away with a mbu puffer.
I never kept these large fish, but saw one, about 2 ft long, living in a lfs tank with angelfish and big bleeding hart tetras.
The tank was set up with some twisted bogwoodand lots of different vals, bright sand and lit by led spots.
But fahakas are really cool too.
