Right now I have an electric blue Dempsey about 2-3" if I get a Fahaka that is about same size, do you think they will coexist, or will 1 win out before long and kill the other.

also, is a 75gallon good for a Fahak?(it's4'X18"X24")

I am thinking I better just ket my 29 gallon setup for the Dempsey for now and let my little Fahaka have the 75...what you all think.

Fahaka are the most aggressive puffers IMO. Your EBJD is going to be one hell of an expensive meal(if you think it's an expensive meal). The fahaka will do fine in that 75G for a while, but you will need to upgrade it eventually. They grow fast, they grow large, and they grow more aggressive. Best ideal is to keep your fahaka as a solitary fish in its own tank. Although some may tolerates tank mate, but most wouldn't. Anything that he/she can catch, will be caught when it's hunting time. :)

I knew of a 4" fahaka that bit an 8" in half. My fahaka grew up with this EBJD, until one day he decided he didn't like him as a tank mate anymore:

The shock of the attack killed it.

thanx for the info, figured as much, but was kinda hoping. anyway, does anyone know the seller AquaticTreasure on aquabid? he/she has the Fahaka, and before I buy, thought i'd ask about them here first.
