FAHAKA's Burying?? What size do they stop doing this??

This was a question I always wanted to ask to all you experienced fahaka puffer keepers. I hope I never stop seeing him bury himself. Is there anyone has a fahaka over a foot long that still does this being that you still have sand in your tanks?? Just curious. I'd figure when they get bigger they stop but hey who knows. I know it all depends on the tank also too. Anybody??
 
Mine never did, unless under stress.
 
LOL, I'm a sis, not a bro. He never ever burried himself, at 1" nor at 12". Just made a burrow for himself in the substrate (50% sand), if I was upsetting him with a WC or redecorating, etc.

I'm not saying this species doesn't burrow, I have many pics of them doing so at my forum:
