I thought I was purchasing java fern, and I thought that my CL's would leave it alone. Does anytone have live plants with their clowns, and which ones work?

I feed my loaches cucumbers and peas at least onece a week, every now and then a spinach leaf. I was hopeing to gradually intorduce live plants. The pet store didn't have java and the one I purchased said it was tropical fern, so I should have been patient. They seem to not be as intrested in the plant after two days in the tank.
never had any serious issues keeping plants and loaches ... a little nibbling is no big deal, but if you want to cut it back, be sure to drop in some sinking pellets and some vegetables for 'em ...
i have java fern with loaches and they do not bother the plants at all
