Fair price for polypterus palmas polli

There are a few palmas polli for sale at 4" for $45.
Is this reasonable or overpriced?

They go for about ten dollars less usually in Washington state

10 to 15 dollars overpriced.

The same price tag popped up on a batch at one of my lfs.

be careful with bichirs. I used to hunt for rare bichir deals in my area, and many times I'd find mislabeled bichirs, or a multitude of names for one species. I have seen the senegal bichir being labeled as a palmas polli, and those can sometimes be seen going for $6 for a 3 inch specimen. if you are willing to spend upwards of $45 on a single bichir then your best bet is to get one from a specialized breeder.

Well I know for a fact that it's a palmas polli.

My only concern was if it is worth the price.
