Thinking about selling off some of my larger flowerhorns. Raising a few of my fry and running out of room. What would be a fair price for these?

First 2. Male is about 11" and female about 8"

Plus one of my tanks is leaking and in need of repair.

Fair price is anything buyers are willing to pay. Do you know the lineage of each fish and how do the offspring from this pair look? If you know the lineage and each parent comes from a stable line of quality fish, you can ask for more money.

If their offspring is high quality, you should add a picture of a higher quality offspring and then you can ask for more.

Not knowing the background on these fish, I would say $300 for the pair on the high end and $150 for the pair on the low end. Proven mated pairs usually cost more because often times, fish are incompatible and fight and get injured during courtship.

I agreed with you sir..

really nice fish for sure.

Thanks guys. They did have fry together and get along well.

How about these(Mayan/FH mix):

I think so also. Not spectacular. Think I could get like $20?

You might get $20 if your pet stores are busy. It might make a great pet for someone new to cichlids. Personally for me as a breeder and someone trying to increase awareness of the wonderful personality and beauty of the flowerhorn, I would have culled this fish when it was much younger. I would probably sell it for $5-10 just to get a quick sale.

Bought them very small and thought they would've turned out better. Live and learn.

Thanks guys. Listed a few of my fish. After thinking about it, giving away Mayan hybrids.

I'd pay $140 for the male alone
