Fair price on a 6-7" Thai silk fh?

I'm planning on buying this guy later today and wanted to know what a fair price was? He's asking 80$ it's a Thai silk possibly mixed with something else at about 6-7"

Is it good to have white eyes? I do plan on getting him, I just don't know much about the silks... I've got a zz and two gb/redtexas mixes

White eyes are good for me coz you always see a red eyes thai silk in the market.

Ah I see... From what I've heard the red eyes usually just indicate that it came from a zz pair with heavy pearling... It also supposedly means that they are usually more firtile as the red dragon is a generally very firtile fish

I've learned that the white eye are more fertile but someone correct me tho. I have seen some thai silk breeder male from Thailand and they are mostly white eye.

I mean just from personal experience with fh it varies from fish to fish. Most females are fertile and males are a toss up...
