Ok.. tired of buying new plants for my Dat to shred. Who makes the most realistic plants? I'm talking some serious scenery! No plastic looking crappola. Post some picts or links if you can.

Never heard of a Dat shredding plants. Does it tear them up on purpose?

The brand isnt important, what is important is to look at the pastic plant and think
"Why did someone take it out of the water and put it in the dry goods aisle?" Then you know its a good one.

Don't know any brand better than another, but I check out both ones made for aquatics, and also fake plants for reptiles, they usually have good ones.

Alot of people use the fake plants from craft stores. Cheaper and better try to find the ones without wires in them. If it does have a wire in it you can try to remove it but IME they don't cause any problems.

Except in the cheap plants the wires rust.:(

I've found that some of the silk plants, depending on what it's supposed to be, look fairly realistic, especially after they've developed a little algae on them--same with plastic. It takes away the stark uniformity of the leaves. IMHO, the multicolored plants tend to look pretty fake no matter what.
