Anyone ever been??? I have lived in TN for about 21 years now and have never been.

I'm siked!!! We leave at 5 in the morning, gonna get there at about 8 AM. We're gonna do some simple hiking trails tomorrow and then hit the hard ones Thursday. And we come back Friday afternoon. I can't wait. here are a few pics if you have never been. It is the tallest waterfall east of the Rocky mountians! I think around 256ft tall. Plus there are tons of little waterfalls and beautiful creeks and streams everywhere!:)

I go twice a year. But for astronomy reasons. Our club holds a astronomy program for kids and adults twice a year. We have programs,Q&A and demonstrations on equipment. Its a blast!!!!!!
The countyside as well as the sights are great. And that waterfall......WHOA!!!!!!
You will have a great time. Guaranteed.
Just stay away from the strip malls. They will break you in a heartbeat.
I wish I could give you a virtual tour and recommend some sights, but the only extra thing I did in the years I have been there is Horseback riding.
And when I got back home, I was in the hospital for a kidney stone removal....That the horseback riding jarred loose. OUCH!!!!!
So I just stick to astronomy now.

Sorry bout the kidney stone, THOSE FREAKIN HURT!!!!!!

The astronomy sounds cool! One of the guys going with us is really into the astronomy stuff. He is also our "guide" so to speak...... We start on the "cable trail" and then we venture off the beaten path onto his trails. I'm really psyched about everything. I think I might bring my nets just in case we see something in the creeks.....

Anywho, gotta finish packing. I'll do a pic thread for everyone either Friday night or sometime Saturday!

wow take lots of pics and enjoy yourself..looks like a beautiful place to visit... enjoy
