Fallen Of A Beast!

Last night, one of my last big two Leichardti passed away. I have had him for 2+ years, since he was 8in juvi, watching him grew into a 22in beast. He was eating well the night before, and was doing well all day. I went out doing some early X-mas shopping with my wife for 3 hours. When we got home, my heart fell to see him up side down in the tank. He was still breathing then for another hour or so, before he took his last breath. R.I.P. He'll be missed!

Wow that is quite a beautiful fish I'm very very sorry for your loss. Its not a common fish and it must really suck to lose something like that RIP.

Sorry for the loss, such a nice fish too...I lost my big lei during the move from NJ to CO over a year ago and I still miss it.

Hopefully someday they will be a little more common , It is on my bucket list of fish to keep some day ( anyone else have a bucket list of fish ? )
