False gars?

How bigdo red tail barracudas get. As I've seen and read they don't get much bigger than 8inches??
I have 4 hujeta gars 7inches long and I was wondering wat other false gars can I add in my 125gallon tank besides the spotted characin pike which I'm getting this week??
Please help my lfs orders them for me today at 12pm thanks!! :)
 
And also how long does it take hujetas to get supposably 12 inches??Ive had mine for 5mnths Now at 2 1/2 Inches!?
