exactly how slow do gt grow? how long does it take them to grow an inch?

i think its slwo but not that slow as babies i think an inch a month but slows down at about 4" IMO.

Even as babies, 1/2" a month is decent. I had one I netted at about 2" and it grew to 4" in about 4 months.

Water temp, water quality, water changes, tank size, feeding, and genetics all play a part though, so it can vary.
