Hi, I work at petco and im getting tired of having to explain everything you need for "nemo" too people that barley listen and hardly understand english. So I want to make a care sheet list of everything you would need for the Clown fish. Then I can make a price list at the store, make it neat and print it out so people can just look at the numbers. I would like to do a minimum list and a recomended list. Thanks for any advice.

hmm, sounds like a cool idea.

min. tank size 10 by itself w/ expert care 23-30 for beginners
salinity 1.021ish +/- a few
temp 78* - 82*
that's basically it some equal LR and gallons tank size anda canister filter or something and keep up on WC's and top offs.
pretty easy.

feed mysis shrimp and pellet foods
anemone is NOT needed, and not recomended for beginners
DONT tap on the glass and yell, "FISHY! FISHY! FISHY!" .lol

Dory not recommended for a 10 gal. LOL

just one? really?

i mean i did mean the "show tank" woulld be hooked up tolike a 20 fuge (that's the expert care) increasing volume.
or did you mean that's just not enough space?

in my experience, these are as hardy as a beta, but i wouldnt recomend putting a clown in a betta bowl, excellent fish for begginers, most damsels are hardy, nothing really special compared to some other SW fish, clowns/damsels are pretty much bullet proof fish, once acclimated that is.

Yeah people get so angry when you try suggesting fish. Esp when they are cycling a tank. I had some guy want to buy a bunch of blue Rams for an uncycled tank. He got all miffed when I had to tell him just flat out . . ."no".
Part of the no was because of the big ass tiger barbs he was buying already frmo me. "Oh I have had cichlids before with tiger barbs and they were fine!"

*shakes head*

jeez.
