got a 180 setup for my aro and found one of these will he live life in a 180 or will he outgrow it these are the things i need to know:nilly: lol before i buy him thanks all

You're speaking of jurenese? I believe he will outgrow it.

yes i believe thats what it is they are selling it as a false tigrinus . but damn sad , beautiful fish wish i could have it thanks

The listed sizes say it would outgrow your tank but I've heard others say it gets right around the 2ft mark in aquaria settings. Unless you can find someone with a huge one the only way to really know is to find out.

They get around 2ft but there are plenty of Juruense over 2ft and frequently you can find wild caught adults at that size +- 4" from peru and the likes. I would think a 180 would be to small for an adult because even if it only reached 2ft that would be the width of your tank when it turned around which would be a problem for the fish. 3-4ft tank width would be much better IMO. My juruense is growing about 1" a month currently, growing out in a 55, then the 240, then the pond ~Trent
