With raising grocery costs what are you guys eating to save some coin?

At the JD7.62 household its alot of hamburger helper, pasta/spaghetti, various chicken based casserols, and when I feed my self its almost always the $1 crisp crust pizza from Walmart!

Once the saugar start biting and I get a deer in the freezer we will save some good money on our meats but until then what cheap and more importantly healthy meals are you guys serving your family? It seems that sadly cheap and healthy dont go hand in hand...

Man I hear that, my mom lived several years in a Hawaii so as a child I pretty much was a can of spam! Sadly my wife doesnt even allow it in the house! :( but she dont know what shes missing!

But really Im looking for some healthy and cheap dinner ideas!

For cheap but not healthy, I like to lightly fry up a chicken breast in olive oil, boil a thing or two of ramen and chop up the chicken and throw it in there. Garnish with massive amounts of hot sauce of your choice and enjoy!

Ramen for meeeeeeeeeeee.

College student ftw.

free ketchup from Mc Ds...... and i'll treat myself to some BBQ sause on Sundays......
