family members VS ur cichlid keeping knolage

sry cant spell that last word right. but any of u have any problems with family members saying stuff like * no its not the fish's tank its ur tank and the water doesnt need changeing all teh time ( every 1 week ) and my cousins think there mom nows more about fish then i do and i been in the hobby more then 5 years so i now more then any one does in the family. and my aunt has 1 oscar 5 female cons 1 red jewl 1 female JD 1 albino chanel catfish 1 pictus catfish one plec and i think thats all and in the 20 she has a breeding pair of JDs and all i have is 5 firemouths ( got rid of my jds to ) in the 29.

so any of u have probems like this?
 
I've had problems with family/friends not understanding my passion and dedication to teh hobby, but its never been something that I let get in teh way. Its YOUR hobby, not theirs, so it really doesn't matter what they say, now does it? Lifting weights, sucking on alkaseltzer, and acting like your gonna bash their face in when they question you though helps a bit too....
 
My fam just thinks im crazy....hey take a pic of that tank!!!
