what are your guys thoughts on this. for the longest time my tanks(previous tank) water was cloudy. it used to be clear up until summer came when i put a fan on top of it to keep it cool. im thinking the fan might be blowing the dust thats in the air into the tank. because when i took the fan off, the water cleared up.

ive never had that problem. Ive had great success in my reef tank with a fan. it does have a skimmer so it does take the scum from the top.
true true. mines freshwater so no skimmer. but i just dialed the heat up a bit that way it doesnt fluctuate. plus fans make the room humid
