I've got a Lionhead that mated with an Oranda, the lionhead has some white tufts on it now several days after mating. Almost looks like a fungus but it is distributed in several different areas on the fish. The Oranda had a bulging eye for several days too, but that has gone away now. Is this just damage from rubbing against tank filter intakes and rocks? They were failry agressive and it went on for a good 18 hours bumping into things, rubbing themselves against rocks and the substrate. Could this just be a normal after effect and sloughing of skin? I put in some stress coat hopefully to help.
