Fancy goldfish or whiteclouds

just want some stocking ideas. non heated bedroom tank, and i don't want a lot of bio-load.

i want either:

1 or 2 fancy baby goldfish

or 8-10 white cloud minnows

i'm having a hard time deciding. what do u think? it's only a 20 gallon long with a penguin 200, 30-40 percent water changes weekly.

maybe when i get to the lfs it will be easier.

OP said 20 gallon. Not big enough for any goldfish. White clouds are a great option, but not your only option. Think gambusia and other tiny U.S. natives, too.

Where are you, Inline4? If you are in the US, I could point you to some vendors with other options for a small coolwater tank. I agree with the others in saying that your tank is much too small for goldfish.

i'm in Wisconsin, a small town about an hour away from the Twin Cities, MN. Since I've moved up here from Nevada, I got rid of my 135 which was lightly stocked with 6 or 7 fish. Didn't have fish for about 8 months since the move, but I started missing it so decided to buy a small tank just for my bedroom.

i was also thinking about a couple axolotl's instead of fish at all. decisions, decisions!
