fancy pleco as cleaner

ok so basiclly im looin 4 a fancy pleco that eats algae, all the websites contradict each other about fancy plecos' diet

i mean these r some i had in mind

• gold nugget
• royal
• snowball

please help

What size is the tank? What fish are in your tank? Panaque maccus or Ancistrus spp are your best bets although I do not agree with using a fish to clean up the algae. Use algae scraper.

Get the royal. Cheaper and better cleaner is a rubber-lipped (bulldog) pleco.

None of those fish are algae eaters per se'

Bristlenosed Ancistrus species would be the best by far but you still have to feed them.

Ancistrus are your best algae eater, although bulldogs and clown plecos do a good job.
