My fantails are between 9 months and 1 year old, when I got them they were about 3cm long and now they're probably about 2 inches not including (long, glorious) tails.
At this age are they mature now? I'm hoping they'll grow some more and I was told that adding a heater will make them grow bigger..
Not sure if this is BS or not so I thought I'd ask here
Don't want to add a heater just to make them grow if it'll make them less happy/healthy. My danios and minnows are also all courting each other and doing some fantastic fin displays which I don't want to risk losing with warmer temps.
