Ahh good, its only been the last month ive noticed his claspers grow, hes about 10" and shes about 13-14" disk. no sighns of bite marks yet though.

Cracking pair of Marbles Angus, that male is improving all the time, when Lee told me you were looking for a better male to go with your female i told him to tell you to give that one a chance,it looked special to me when you first got it.......you made the right choice by keeping him,hes going to be a bute!
Good luck with breeding them though my guess is it could well be 18 months before theres any breeding activity....hes certainly got the tools for the job though but probably a wee bit immature at the mo.

IME once the males start their maturing process, it usually takes about 6 months. once the claspers are fully grown they r ready for breeding

to me it looks like your male is at about half way there. a few more months and u might see some breeding behavior.

thanks for the replies people, be interesting to see how long it does take for them to breed, my friends marbles had pups a few weeks back and theyed been mature for years. Aquaman i wont be selling him anymore the last few weeks he has improved greatly and i know ide regrett it lol (was just very tempted by the nice male chens had for sale), the pic shows his good side the other side is still patchy and not as bold.
