At last got online in my new house and so sent the pic. Finally got rid of my 11" Indo. As you can see he coloured up well come the end-think it liked the harder water in the Midlands.
Couldn't get anyone to take him and eventually a local fella took him for nothing. All my fish were housed in a temporary vat during the move and this Indo killed my 6" Silver Dat-gutted. Not long after the fish were in the new house he started to nip my Silver Dollars badly-he had to go. Shame as he was a very fine fish and had become stable at last
2 weeks later I went to Wildwoods and bought a 1.5" NGT, 2" NTT and 4" Silver Tiger-this numbed the pain! Some friends have moved near to Wildwoods-we go again in a few weeks and I intend to buy another NTT-the Indos I've seen appear too unstable for my liking

did you really get rid of him for nothing! can u get him back?????? I'd love him to buy him!!!

YEP-nothing. Tried for months to get rid of him-even when I advertised him for free. Kept hearing how big Tigers (even Indos) were in demand but I found this to B.S. I had him initially for £40 on Aquarium Classifieds and not a sniff mate. Its a mad world...
P.S. See you're based in Canterbury-up until 3 months ago I was living in Eastbourne!

can't believe i missed it. usually don't miss any tigers on the classifieds. sent you a pm.

well restrained rob :D i'm absolutely gutted i missed this. the chance of a big indo is few and far between and for free is unbelievable.

I can't believe you had any issues trying to find a new home for that indo.

Bear in mind it didn't look this stable in my old home but believe me I had real problems getting shot of it. For sure it would've been different if I lived across the pond...
