Farm hybrids

This is bought as a mono but its for sure not a pure mono. My guess is that it is kelberi involved. Any ones got other thoughts of this?

Yeah it is a stunning fish. Cant wait for it to grow big so it can join my 5pack of wc orinos and a huge mono male. Got another of these hybrids coming in next week from a friend.

Because of the golden green color wich only kelberis and orinos has. And its clearly not an pure breed monoculus as i bought it as. This prob comes from some farm in asia where they mixes species.

Yeah i bought it as a mono and it has some traits from kel or orino. Now when its grown a little it is a stunning fish. A bit feisty to if compared to my large wc monomale.

Yeah it’s a hybrid. I don’t see kel or orino in it so not sure why you think that. I had a mono/ocell hybrid a long time ago that had the same tail look.

Its the coloration that makes me suspect that not the tail look of it. It is the golden glare and speckles. But one can only speculate about it.
