Today I nailed the trout in the Farmington on meal worms and garden worms. Biggest was 16 inches the smallest was 12 inches. None of them had beat up tails so they all were in the river for a while. I caught 7 of them here they are:

Here is the first trout of the day on the first drift of the day:

It was a great day on the river I also caught a few perch biggest 13 inches and some nice rockbass. All of them were released and before I get bashed for this none of the trout's gills were harmed.

Hey
Second and third DO have damaged tails...

Awesome catches!! Why didn't you take some home to cook? They are yummy.

Yeah just the 3rd one I just noticed it, I would take some home if my freezer wasn't full of brown, brook, tiger, and rainbow trout!

That's quite a full freezer! Eat 'em up!!! They are best fresh :)

Nice trout! I still haven't been trout fishing yet.

Bluegill - a bobber and a live shiner is all you need for bass :)

Maybe you aren't trying the right place. Largemouths are more of "pond" fish, more than a river fish.
