I've been amazed at how quick and agile knife fish, especially considering they can look a bit clumsy haha.

I have an African Brown and when he gets spooked, which is pretty frequent, he usually just back pedals and swims straight backwards, which he can do about as fast as any of my other fish swimming forwards.
