Faster growing catfish?

i have two ID sharks that are growing wayyy to slow. In the 3 week time that I've had them, they haven't even grown an inch while the RTC has doubled in size! The ID sharks are 5 inches and the RTC was 4 inches when i got him. Should I just bring the ID sharks back to the store for store-credit and get something else? If so, what should I get!

RTC'shave a faster growth rate then ID sharks.. What size tank are they in?

In all seriousness, I really do want a faster growing catfish. I don't want the ID sharks to end up being food for the RTC.

There lack of growth is probably magnified due to the RTC and that can happen with any fish in the same tank as a RTC.

depending on how large his pond actually is ..
