Fastest Breeding type of food for JD's

Hi all, I know that nutritionally store bought food is better than anything else, but I like to give my 2 JD'S a treat, (along with the bichir if he feels so inclined to eat), what do you guys think is the best overall thing to breed considering speed/nutrition/ease. I have heard worms are relatively easy

try some live foods maybe some feeder fish or frozen brine shrimp and blood worms . most people dont like using store bought feeder fish so i would breed convicts and use thier fry as feeders.

Feeder guppies. With enough cover in the tank, you may be able to establish a breeding colony and let your dempsey feed at will.

I guess it's possible, but I can't imagine a dempsey that wouldn't gobble these guys up faster than they can breed. Unless maybe it's a HUUUUUGE tank with whole areas the dempsey can't get to.
