what is the fastest anybody has had a dat grow? what kind of dat? what were you feeding? i have 4" indo that has grown 1" in 4 months, but only eats blood worms, i have tried to convert to silver sides but gave in after 2 weeks. is this normal growth for a bloodworm only diet.

datnoid's normally have a very slow growth rate so i believe its the same with other datnoids too.

I once had a siamese tiger and in one year it only grew 3cm and i was feeding it once a day...then the next year i decided to fast track its diet and i started feeding him 4-5 times a day on feeders and whitebait and before i knew it, he was a 20cm+ beast!
I've had varied growth rates with all of mine. My quickest being an ST from 2" to 9" in about 10 months, and an IT from 1.5" to 9" in the same time frame. But i've also had dats go from 2" to 5" in the exact same period. All eating the same diet of Tetra Monster Pellets, silver sides, and MP.
Either way, their growth significantly gets slower at about 9-10".
