Just picked up two silver scats, body about the size of a nickle. (minus tail)
I'm afraid they'd be lunch in my 150, their eventual home.

So I have them in my 65 guppy breeder tank hoping to fast grow them.

What is the fastest way I can grow them up and how long should I expect to wait (are we there yet, are we there yet) for them to reach new dollar coin size? (roughly double current size.)

Power growth is the same for most fish. Ammonia blocks growth hormones so in conjunction with feeding 2-3 times daily do a 10-15 percent water change. The love them some veggies, so experiment to see what they like. Might do well to anchor some zuchini or cucumber or romane lettuce or cabage. Actually considering their size I'd try feeding them small pellets or flakes with spirulna in it.

Agreed, good quality pellets. Are they in brackish water?
