more bio-filtration

water changes

use buffers, explain this a bit more too

So im adding another canister onto my 90 Gal. So i should have 2 Magnum 350's on the tank... think that will make a major difference? as in lowering a slight spike in nitrates?

Not at all. It will help control ammonia and nitrite though.

So thats atleast a step to stop things turnin into nitrates... just one step of the journey... So im adding the filter and doing alot more water changes...

Any other way to get rid of stupid nitrates??

The goal of your filters is to convert ammonia to nitrite and then nitrite to nitrate, which you then remove by water changes.

You got the right idea, more filtration and more water changes make for happy fish.

Good luck.
