Can cichla´s grow too fast ?. Can they relly burn fat so fast, and grow up without liver- / kidny failor, or deposit fat in the cavity. I had an idea i could grow them to around 10 inch in half a year, but they are alredy 8 inch in 3 month. Is this too fast ?. lol

Thats kinda crazy what kinda of cichla do you have and what are you doing for them to grow so fast. Also, you said 8 inches after 3 months how big where they on day one of the 3 months.
hey roids may beef them up but his knuckle hump will be small .

Roids ??. My goal is to grow them big but not fat.
Storry short, had a lot of Crenicichla´s 15-16 years back, raised them from immature juvenile´s, to big colorfull, hellthy mature adult´s and bred them, (lugubris group, all 45+ cm.). This i would like to try with cichla´s now.
Big helthy juvenile´s with not too much color, turn into very colorful and very big adult´s LOL
