Hi, I just noticed earlier today my bottom dweller hikari pellets have a high fat content... 9% which in my experience seems high... in your opinion is this too high and unhealthy? Also is this ok for yellow labs the protein content is 36% I think
I also have massivores but I haven't feed them this because my lfs told me not to go past 35% protein because it will cause bloating. But I do feed freeze dried bloodworms OCCASIONALLY. So the diet I give them is hikari bottom dwellers, bloodworms, and algea wafers. Both the hikari and algea wafers have spirulina but the hikari has krill and silkworm.
Hikari: 36% protein 9% fat 4% fiber 10% moisture 16% ash .8% phosphorus
Algea 33% protein 4% fat 3% fiber 10% moisture 17% ash .8% phosphorus
I also have some cichlid excel but the pellets are floating and tiny
35% protein 4% fat 3% fiber 10% moisture 13% ash .8% phosphorus
Are the hikari bottom dwellers ok?
