fat female bronze cory

hi, i have a very ready to lay eggs cory...in fact my other cories just laid the eggs on the glass. while they where laying the eggs i noticed that the female carries the eggs under her, cupped by her anal fins. my fat female..i have noticed is missing one anal fin. might this be why she is not dropping the eggs, because she cant hold them??? any help would be nice..thanks
