All my local pet stores have been out of feeders because of the heat wave we are having up here... Finally got my hands on some roseys today

Nice. Why don't you try to set up some colonies of livebearers in the grow out, they can produce well enough if you start with a sizeable group. Something like swordtails which have huge litters and larger adults can work pretty well.

I like the option especially because at this time of year feeders get sporadic and disease rates in feeders really starts to increase.

You can always breed your own Rosie's too here, great fish food and fishing bait too. Native species so it is legal to fish with unlike goldfish.

Looks healthy and fat! Putting it with the rays in the future i assume?

Nice little guy! He looks to be in exceptional condition, but I suppose that shouldn't surprise me considering who the owner is!

+1 Chicx ... was going to say the same, not a scratch on him ... hope to see him monster size one day!

Looks sweet, got a while before he can go with those rays. :)

Probably not long before he can head to the pup tank though....

Glad to see a Tiger in your tank Trev despite thinking I remember you saying you'd never own one again..... lol

One Goliath down, one Goliath to go.... ;)

Ha ha yup decided to try another one. Got a sweet deal on this little guy.

Hes actually in my little pup tank right now with my newborns. I was going to put him in another tank but he was way smaller then i thought he was gonna be

He actually turned out to be fairly calm. He dosnt even spook anymore when i come to the tank

How big is he? I had a 5-6 inch pup cloak my 4" Vittatus and luckily I walked in the room when it was happening. Had to reach in the tank to scoot her off of him.
He shot out from under her like a bullet. He hasn't ever been cloaked again. :)

Hes about 4" inch tops

My pups are about 4 to 5" so ive been feeding them alot so hopefully they dont mess with him
