Fat tiger barbs

I decided today that my tiger barbs were becoming fairly massive (or have the beginnings of it) so I scooped out the two largest ones and measured them (much to their displeasure).

Here they are

School was 8 when I got them last july (they were around 1.5" then), but I lost two in quarantine so 6 now. I'm still on the hunt for about 4 more to make it 10, but nobody in my area has them around the size that mine are.

Edit: By the way they eat NLS pellets every day, and once in a while will steal a hikari pellet from my oscar
 
Someone brought us 3 massive tiger barbs at work yesterday. They were around 3" and just as thick as yours. I thought about taking them if they were around at the end of the day, but we had a big sale, so they were snatched right up pretty much as soon as we got them. They did also bring us 4 monster giant danios that look great in my 55, haha.

The only proof I could manage is some pics of the HUGE danios. Those barbs were only in the store for under an hour
 
On a small side note - my LFS finally got in some "large" tiger barbs, asked for 5 and he gave me a free one so I got 6! They're clearly not as well fed as the ones I already have, but they'll catch up ;)
