Hello everyone I'm back! Been a long time, had some big personal matters going on. Dust is settling and I just want to see what's going on. Miss all my CA cichlids I had to get rid of. Hope good things happened with all the beani and istlanum I imported from Mexico?

Great to see you back, now where's all the white beani!!!!!! Lol:drool:

Gonna make it happen. Finding my mojo again! Planning a trip to Chiapas too....cichlid Mecca! Whatever happened to all the istlanum and other beani I brought in? Did they thrive and are now stable in the hobby? Did I make any positive impact? :)

Great News!!! I have seen a few of your Istlanum posted but no Beani.

Hey joe, welcome back!!:) your red istlanum lines are only ones in hobby that I know if!! Definitely miss mine:/ no beani bro:/ looking forward to what you can bring in. I've got my passport together do hit me up n I'll definitely join you for istlanum n beani!!!

I'm excited guys and pumped to do this again. Divorce suvks but I'm recovered, so..... let's do this! I would like to bring back both species this year. Maybe beani first? Will see. I'm also planning a trip to Chiapas to visit some tilapia farmer buddies. They say wild cichlids are always getting into their systems, so that will be interesting to maybe bring a cool assortment of wild caughts from that region.
If anyone knows anybody in SoCal who is selling big tanks for for cheap or wanting to "donate" and trade for a couple beani or istlanum? That would be great as I am starting over....literally in so many ways....lol

Their is a place in S.D. called Pet Kingdom. Great group of people. They often have sweet deals on used, large tanks. Sometimes, they are complete setups. The price is always negotiable. Good luck!
