so every year for the past 8 years or so i take my dad fishing for fathers day. this year i plan on taking him for some night fishing in harpers ferry for some catfish. i know the area below the town on the maryland side very well but does anyone have some good spots theyd like to share for a father son team? in addition what kind of bait do you guys use top catch cats

these guys do a tournament at harpers ferry every once in awhile. theres a few guide services on there that you could ask if theyd go done there if u wanted. The potomac isnt too far from you and theres some nice fish out there. Sadly the blue cats are done for awhile, but whites ferry hold somes real nice channel cats
as for baits, i like to use bluegills. Channel catfish love whole and cut up bluegill. i find 2" bluegill do very well on a hook come summertime. Raw shrimp from the grocery store should also catch you alot of nice ones.
