Nice chunkster. whats he kept with? i see one cichlid, just curiose what species working for you. And I don't remember/know much about alot of cichlids.

I keep him with all sorts of ca and sa cichlids. His best buddy is my 10" oscar. I have midas, viejas, anf others. No one messes with him but ive heard this is usually not the case so i dont recomend this as normal tankmates. Its just what has worked for me an you ask so i think its worked because i inteoduced him when the fish were only big enough to not be eaten but to scared to mess with him. And as theyve been together growing out i havent had a problem. I think he thinks hes a big cichlid. Comes to the top with the rest of the feeding frenzy to take his share of pelles. He loves his coco puff sized pellets.
