What is your favorite peacock or hap? Why? Then share some information about the fish for the rest of us.

My phenochilus, from the north of lake Malawi.
Why, because they look as cool as a Electric Blue Jack, but they are bullet proof.
Not a perfect tankmate, but not bad for frontosa, look good with mine.
get a good 8 inches.

My fossochromis Rosturus. Why? the color and the energy the fish has. Also how he will dive down into the sand when alarmed although I do not encourage this behavior at all. Also very mild mannered for an 8 inch fish.

I would have to agree I love my Phenochilus Tanzania. Thier coloration compairs to that of a saltwater fish. Here are some pics of mine:

I would have to say my juvie Placidochromis Phenochilus is my fav Glad to see they are popular since I am growing a group out to breed.
