P. bichir bichir has always been my favorite

palmas palmas is the big on, buettikoferi is the top left. its basically a yellow version of the palmas palmas

its not just a yellow version since some palmas palmas can be yellow too. the two actually have different patterns, both on the sides and esp. on the back of the fish.

My #1 is P. endlicheri endlicheri...
I can appreciate the rarer varieties through the photo's I've been checking out (mostly CDM ), but until I have my big tank set up and get some experience with them, I'll stick with that. Congicus or Teugelsi may take the #1 slot after that, but I doubt it.
P.S. I should be setting JESToner up with a Teugelsi, maybe within the month

what substrate is this? I have Dekoline Orange in my tank, and this highly resembles it, except thuis is not as bright as mine, this seems more faded out. I like it, but what is it?
