Tom cruise tainted reacher for me a little. Latest book was good though. Have you tried Elvis and Pike novels by Robert Crais?

Mack Bolan....Tom Cruise did Jack Reacher absolutely no justice on screen,Walberg's version of Bob Swagger wasn't all that great either but it wasn't as bad as Reacher...love reading those characters novels though.

Nameless, played by Jet li in the movie "Hero" I have the comic book and the collectors edition of the movie.
Wong fei hong, another character Jet li played in the once apon a time in china movies.
Tang bohu, a character played by my fav comic actor Stephen chow.
Pierce Brosnan's James bond.
Chan ho nam played by Ekin cheng in the young and dangerous movies.
Mark played by chow yun fat in the better tomorrow movies.
Seibei Iguchi played by Hiroyuki Sanada in the movie Twilight samurai.
Any character ever played by Toshirô Mifune was an instant classic.
