My red belly has a eye that's swollen and cloudy what do I do??? What happened to him? What caused this and what is it? is my other red bellys in danger of it

I had the same problem with my reds. What I was told to do on this forum is do 20-30% water changes every other day for about 2 weeks and it worked. I guess my water was really dirty and it caused them to get that cloudy eye. Their all fine now.

My Oscars and P. Bass were with the cloudy eyes too...just do the water changes and they will be ok ! No Problem ! ;D

Tell us more about your tank. What size tank? how many fish? What size fish? WC routine? Water parameters? Pics always help too.

Thank u big bad wolf I've been doin water changes and the slimy stuff came off of him and eye that was swollen is not as swollen as it use to be thanks so much still a little slimy

Maybe your Amonia is high (maybe, there are a lot of organic material in your tank or filtration setup). Keep trying the water changes. If you could check out your filtration would be fine !
