A while back our fearless leader El 'Nut (aka PP) started a thread in which we voted for our favorite type of pike. I propose a new one-favorite individual pike or pike photo. I suggest this because as we all know many pike types don't have as consistent a beauty as we might like-a rare individual beauty with a lot of drab confreres.
To kick it off my top three are: 1-The xingu 3 from aqualog-hard to beat jet black pike with gold crescent eyes a full red belly and a bright white line o the dorsal (this fish epitomizes the point of this thread, I don't think many xingu 3s achieve that level of beauty) 2-The Rosemariea on Vinny Kutys site, BRIGHT orange, Metallic lime green and red spots?-did someone call in a order to the big guy for a perfect pike 3-Mt. Pikes 3rd place Tapajos Red ic from aca 2006-that fish looks like someone dipped it in tomato soup!
Cheers
