Figured I would throw this question out and see how the results turn out. I have been trying to decide for myself which is my favorite Polypterus species and it is so hard to choose because Polypterus in general are awesome. Anyway I wanted to ask you guys what you think? Feel free to post pictures of your own specimens if you'd like. I didn't post this in the media section of this forum, but no biggie.

The ones i selected are the ones i have... if i had others they woulda been in the list tooo.... so yea i love ehm all..
ha true. well if that's the case then i should have selected 5. i have 6 species, but the Ansorgii is a captive bred hybrid and I only included true species in the list
p.s.: I was going to include the Rope Fish (Erpetoichthys Calabaricus), but it's not really a Poly so I left it out.
I'd like to own atleast one of each "true" species of Polypterus at some point. I think that would be a bad ass tank!
I tried this once. Worked up until the really pricey ones then reality hit me. Tank just looks like a snake pitt after a while. Lol
I kept endli endli, ornate and weeksi. Id love to see my weeksi fullgrown.
I'm on the game too... But sadly availability sucks for me... But surely do one I like the snake pit... Well it is a safer substitute for ma family as I used to keep snakes, which they despised lol...
