umm well marine usually refers to the ocean and the bichir from what's been documented usually doesn't live in the ocean so do you mean favorite aquatic animal? or marine animal?

the MORAY EEL and i'm not into saltwater. i'm a freshwater hobbyist, but if i had a salt tank, i'd try to find a moray.
