If any of you have ever seen that Stephen King scary as all get out movie called Cujo, you'll get more of a kick outa this than others. I couldn't even finish that movie when i was younger, and I don't have the guts to try and watch it now. SOOO we figured it was a fitting name for our new betta!! BTW, he was a WalMart rescue!! His tail fin was torn all up, he was in about 1/2" of water, and looked really thing and emaciated. Looking better now I think..haha. Hes even started making bubble nests!! Woot!

Great save! Just curious for those who save fish, do you ever try to get discounts or anything off of the fish when you do a rescue? I am just curious. I am just thinking it could cost more to bring the health of the fish up compared to one that is healthy.

He is a beautiful betta.. and glad you saved him.. i have done this a few times myself at walmart.. and really what is the big deal feeding a few more..and some of my rescues turned out to be some of my best looking..
