What is one freshwater fish that you are most afraid of? Mine would have to be piranhas.

Why do you fear Ps? An explanation would make the thread more interesting. Is it because:

1. Their appearance?
2. They're known to hunt in shoals?
3. You don't trust you can maintain safety practices if keeping them?
4. Their teeth are surgically sharp? Or,
5. You fear they'll evolve into ground-walking air-breathing mutants that will hunt you down in the comfort of your safe bed?

#5 Is my fear of what snakeheads will become ever since I learned they can survivor and move out of water.

I'm apprehensive towards candiru catfish because they inhibit the freedom I feel from peeing randomly in the wild.

My pick would be another south American fish the electric eel, because of the ability of voltage the adults can produce.

Mine would have to be, a fancy tail gold fish..... Lol jk nah mine would be a large wolf fish idk they just seem terrifying lol, the gars are also intimidating but then again I hand feed mine lol and he even clamped on to my thumb and I laughed lol

I'm afraid of discus, for the money one can throw away on these beauties and then watch them wither and die within a 6 month period. Oh how my bank account and fishroom would be so much nicer today if my 2 year "experiment" with discus never occurred. I learned the hard way that I have to wait until I am retired and the three kids are out of the house to try that again.
