feather fin cat sick injured idk

hey everyone

i have about a 6in feather fin catfish he has a really strange looking whitish spot not ick its rather large say a bout about the size of a dime im going to try and get some pics of it.
its really odd hes not acting sick or anything not really sure whats going upsany advise?

My first thought was a heater burn as well... I'm still guessing thats what it is.. based on shape and color seems like he likes to lay under the tip of the heater

1 more vote for heater burn. These fish are known to get it, when trying to hide behind or near the heater.
